Rushing through the design process to "win the bid" will seldom result in the landscape that "could have been." Our flexible design structure allows us to create the perfect landscape design at the right price for you. These designs help visualize scale, placement, landscape products, lighting and impact of the landscape in a way 2D renders just can’t. It allows us to go over the entire scope of work and provide a detailed, itemized breakdown of the project, which ensures no surprises during landscape construction.
Once we’ve perfected your design we’ll create professional CAD drawings and then provide a detailed bid with an in-depth breakdown of all the materials required for construction, all fixtures specified as well as descriptions of best practice installation. You can easily use the design and takeoffs to obtain bids from other reputable landscapers so you can compare "apples-to-apples" quotes.

We’re in the design process together
Here’s how our design process works:
On-site Consultation– We will visit your yard and meet with you to conduct a preliminary study of whether the project is possible, taking into consideration local codes, project budget, and installation feasibility. We’ll get a sense of your likes and dislikes, how many people you’d like your space to accommodate, your personal design style and gather all measurements.
Concept Phase – Our landscape designer will create a layout in 3D of the project to include design objectives and style. This will include our recommendation of material choices. It serves as a talking point to discuss and finalize details of the project and may or may not necessitate revision to finalize these decisions. This phase can generally take between 8 and 15 hours of design time and will vary depending on complexity of design, scale and scope of the design, and necessary revisions.
Construction Documentation – Once the conceptual phase is finalized we will produce a 2D to-scale CAD drawing to include installation sections (utility, footers, kitchen installation, fireplace installation, etc.), material manufacturer and product information (pavers, block, coping, plants, appliances, lighting, audio/visual, etc.) Measurements and takeoffs will be added. This can generally take between 2 and 5 hours and will vary depending on complexity of design, scale and scope of the design, and necessary revisions.
Construction Administration – We will provide an estimate and produce a contract for construction of the proposed project.
